We have one role available currently for a retail assistant.

Dungeonland is a specialist tabletop roleplaying game store based in Blackpool that sells alternatives to Dungeons & Dragons. We are primarily online and are increasing the size of our premises in May / June to offer customers an improved experience when they visit us and shop for their order. The role is part time, mostly week days, but some weekend work may be involved. The hours will be up to 20 per week, which we'll confirm during the interview period, as we are still planning opening times. Initially, you will be involved in assisting us setting up the new area we are moving in to. This will involve a lot of heavy lifting and manual labour. Once our new space is ready, your role will involve supporting two sides of the business. Part of it will be supporting part of our team picking and packing the website orders and dealing with incoming stock, and part of it will be supporting another side of our team in a customer facing role dealing with the public.

No experience is necessary, and you don't need an interest in roleplaying games right now to work with us, we'll help teach you everything about them and the role that you need to know. We're looking for a great personality, and you'll be in a work place where you can always be your true self. We are seeking someone flexible, good at following instructions accurately, and keen to learn the different parts of a small local business. You'll also need to be up for some heavy lifting from time to time, as our deliveries often come on pallets and boxes can weigh up to or around 25 kg.
