About Dogs Trust

Dungeonland is a registered fundraiser partner for the Dogs Trust which has been our chosen charity to support on an ongoing basis since early 2021. Since 1891, Dogs Trust have been working for a better future for dogs and the people who love them. When a dog is in distress, they care for them. When a dog needs a home, they find them a loving family. When an owner needs a helping hand (or paw) – or they just can’t cope, they are ready to step in. For every dog, for every owner, they are by their side through thick and thin, throughout their lives. It’s why they believe a dog is for life.® Dogs Trust is the UK’s largest welfare charity who rehome dogs throughout the UK and Ireland.

To date, Dogs Trust care for over 15,000 dogs each year through their 20 rehoming centres. The dogs they care for come in all shapes and sizes; from the smallest Chihuahua to the giant Great Dane. Dogs Trust never put a healthy dog down and ensure they have the happiest life whilst in their care.

Dogs Trust and Dungeonland

Dungeonland adopted its own dog, Milly, a Staffordshire Bull Terrier, from the Dogs Trust in Manchester at the end of 2020. Milly was five at the time she arrived with the Dogs Trust. She was overweight, covered in dandruff, and had some serious problems with infections and warts in both her ears as well as a haematoma. She was sadly expected to end up deaf. Today, she is a very happy and loving dog. Her weight is now just right for her age and size and her dandruff long since cleared. Regular treatment of her ears has cleared away her warts and infections and she has a better chance of keeping her hearing as she gets older. Milly is an important member of the Dungeonland family. She doesn't pack parcels, or process deliveries, but she will give us a cuddle and a play while we do.

Donate with Dungeonland

Dungeonland receives thousands of visitors every month. And that gives us a platform to help others. So every time you make a purchase at Dungeonland at the end of the checkout process you will be given the option to make a donation to the Dogs Trust. Whatever amount you choose, Dungeonland will top it up by 50%. So donate £2 for example, and we'll send the Dogs Trust £3. We collect your donations for periods of three months, top them up by 50%*, and donate that total at the end of the quarter. So in total, we make four cash donations each year, at the end of March, June, September, and December. We display the total amount raised at the top of this page which includes your donations plus a 50% top up from Dungeonland. The amount we show has not been adjusted to include any gift aid in the total.

*Up to a maximum of £100.

How Your Money Helps
  • £1 - £5 can provide treats to our furry friends.
  • £60 can cover the cost for one dog for one day at a rehoming centre.
  • £100 can help fund a dog ambulance to rescue puppies from a puppy farm.
  • £1400 covers the cost of caring for and rehoming a dog.
